On May 26th, the construction of a 12000 ton offshore oil and gas platform, the Bozhong 19-6 Gas Field Central Platform, was completed in Qingdao. The platform has achieved multiple technological innovations, and after being put into operation within the year, it can provide stable and reliable clean energy and chemical products for the Beijing Tianjin Hebei and Bohai Rim regions.
The central platform of the Bozhong 19-6 gas field is an 8-legged multifunctional marine oil and gas platform that integrates production and life. The platform is 32 meters high, 65 meters long, and 56 meters wide, with a projection area of nearly 9 standard basketball court sizes. The platform includes production equipment such as triethylene glycol absorption tower and flash steam compressor, as well as a living building that can accommodate 120 people working simultaneously, with a total weight of over 12000 tons, equivalent to the weight of 10000 household cars.
Xue Dongsheng, Deputy Manager of the Bozhong 19-6 Project of Offshore Oil Engineering, said that the platform is equipped with two sets of natural gas deep dehydration units designed and assembled independently for the first time in China. After being processed by these units, even in an environment of 52 MPa high pressure and -38 ℃, there will be no water precipitation. The technical capability has reached an international leading level, which can significantly improve the stable gas supply capacity of the oilfield.
The total length of the central platform pipeline is 29000 meters, exceeding two-thirds of the marathon length. The pipelines are mostly high-pressure and large wall thickness pipelines, which are difficult to construct and require high welding requirements. Taking a 24 inch natural gas pipeline as an example, two experienced welders take turns working for 3 days to complete one welding operation. The total number of welding joints on the platform reaches 36000, and the final inspection pass rate is 100%.
Chen Tao, Project Leader of the Engineering Construction Center of China National Offshore Oil Corporation Tianjin Branch, said that the designed annual oil and gas processing capacity of the central platform exceeds 5 million tons. After the platform is towed, loaded, fixed, and inspected on land, it will be transported offshore in July for installation, connection, and debugging work. It is expected to be put into trial production by the end of 2023.
The Bozhong 19-6 gas field, where the central platform of the Bozhong 19-6 gas field is located, is the first large-scale and fully installed one hundred billion cubic meters of gas field in eastern China. Currently, the proven geological reserves of natural gas exceed 200 billion cubic meters.
